AERO6 WCCB Carbon-Ceramic Rotor Front Brake Kits offer an extreme performance upgrade featuring WCCB Carbon-Ceramic Dynamic Mount Rotors with Wilwood’s exclusive Bobbin Mounting System. AERO6 WCCB kits are engineered to maximize braking capacity inside custom wheels. These brake kits offer a simple bolt-on installation with minor modifications required to the front spindle only and are fully compatible with ABS and OE master cylinder output. AERO6 calipers are a competition proven and offer fully detail machined forged caliper body demonstrates superior strength and resistance to deflection and separation under high load. Black or Red powder coat calipers are available as options. 14.00” WCCB rotors are made from a proprietary blend ceramic matrix composite material commonly known as Carbon-Ceramic and dynamically using Wilwood’s proprietary integrated anti-rattle Bobbin Mounting System. WCCB rotors offer higher thermal conductivity and heat capacity in excess of conventional iron or titanium rotors of similar or even greater weight and have been developed to withstand extreme temperatures with the highest possible degree of resistance against distortion, warping, cracking and wear.

AERO6 Big Brake Front Brake Kit (Race) Description

This kit is configured for dedicated road racing on all 2005-2014 model Mustangs. The AERO6R/ST six piston calipers used in this kit feature a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. This latest model of the AERO6R/ST calipers features a wider than standard body that accepts 20mm thick pads to add volume for longer service life. Thermlock® pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and to extend service life with decreased temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Caliper piston volumes are matched for full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and ABS controls. The calipers are also fully compatible with manual brake conversions to balance bar pedals using appropriately sized master cylinders. Spec37 alloy GT series 14.00” diameter directional vane rotors are dynamically mounted to the OE hubs with weight saving forged aluminum hats. As is with the calipers, the hats are hard anodized for superior wear resistance and extended service life at the load bearing surfaces. Mounting brackets, including all premium grade fasteners, secure the calipers to the spindles in the stock location with no modifications required. This championship proven system is completed with high temperature, high friction, race compound pads selected specifically by application. Stainless steel braided flexlines are included in each kit to complete the installation.

GN4R/ST four piston radial mount race calipers are coupled with the high cooling capacity of 13.00" Dynamic Lug Drive Spec37 GT 48 directional vane rotors to provide the ultimate brake package for road race competition restricted to four piston calipers. GN4R/ST calipers use a forged aluminum body and feature a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. This latest model of the GN4R/ST calipers features a 20mm thick pads to add volume for longer service life. Thermlock® pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance. BP-30 SmartPads selected specifically for exceptional driver control in braking.

Thermlock® pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and to extend service life by decreasing temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Caliper piston volumes are matched for full compatibility with the OE power brake booster and master cylinder, and are easily configured with manual brake conversions and balance bar pedals using appropriately sized master cylinders. Spec37 alloy GT competition series 12.19” diameter directional vane rotors provide high cooling efficiency with rugged durability and thermal stability in sustained high heat competition. Unsprung and rotating weight are minimized by using forged aluminum rotor mounting hats for mounting on the factory hubs. Mounting brackets, including all premium grade fasteners, secure the calipers in the stock location, with some modification of the spindle for bracket clearance. Details of the required modifications are illustrated on page 4 of assembly instructions. Dynapro Radial Front Pro-Street Brake Kit Description

NDPR forged billet, radial mount four piston calipers are used in this select group of drag racing kits. The OE brakes on vehicles originally equipped with 16” or larger wheels generally do not fit inside the popular 15” drag wheels. Specially designed radial caliper mount brackets bolt directly to the OE caliper mount, and provide secure and accurate mounting for the NDPR caliper. These kits with .81” rotors should be used on cars over 2,800 pound cars, or lighter cars running extreme speeds desiring increased rotor durability.
