Wilwood’s Tactical Xtreme TX6R big brake kits are used on heavy-duty trucks, including armored vehicles up to 14,000 lb GVWR. The fitment for Ram heavy-duty trucks has been expanded to include 2500 and 3500 models from 2014 through 2023 for both front and rear kits.

Bolt-on brake kits replace OE twin-piston sliding calipers with Wilwood’s rigid forged aluminum, differential bore, six stainless steel piston TX6R calipers and are fully compatible with the factory master cylinder, ABS and electronic controls. Proprietary Spec37 iron alloy GTB slotted rotors are over an inch larger in diameter at 16.00” x 1.38” with 60 internal cooling vanes to provide increased thermal capacity and brake torque. A black E-coat finish provides corrosion protection throughout.

Fade-resistant SmartPad BP-Q compound brake pads are included with additional compounds available for your application. Kits are designed to fit most 20” and larger wheels for off-roading, hauling, towing, commercial, and heavy-duty highway use. Calipers are finished in gloss red or black powder coat with 24 other color options available (additional charges apply).
