The GMC Jimmy was introduced in 1970 as direct competition to the Chevy Blazer. In 1991 the Jimmy was discontinued and replaced by the GMC Yukon. The Jimmy was based on the shorter wheelbase trucks and were available with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
