Combination Remote Master Cylinder

Combination Remote Master Cylinders offer six different bore sizes and four different installation configurations that are available with this master cylinder kit. Precision machined from high strength aluminum, this kit includes both small and large size reservoirs which can be mounted directly on the master cylinder or remotely mounted for more convenient service access. Standard mounting bolt hole configurations provide easy applications for racing and off road vehicles, specialty cars, recreation and industrial vehicles.

Remote Tandem M/C for Classic Mustang

Wilwood’s Remote Tandem Master Cylinder for Classic Mustang is available in 2 bore sizes 7/8” and 15/16”, and in two finishes: ball burnished and black e-coat. They’re designed for mount flanges from 3.22” to 3.40” and a pushrod and eyelet for Calssic Mustang and other Ford vehicles from 1965 to 1973. Remote Tandem Master Cylinders offer fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore. The stroke is set at 1.12” with a volume ratio of 2:1 between the primary and secondary chambers. Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders. Remote Tandem M/C Kit w/Pushrod, Bracket and Valve

Wilwood has packaged the pushrod equipped Remote Tandem Chamber Master Cylinder in a kit with the Combination Proportioning Valve, mounting bracket, fluid tubes and mounting hardware. Wilwood's Tandem Master Cylinders represents the latest in refinement in brake pressure actuation and fluid control. The included captured pushrod is for manual brake equipped cars or conversions. The high-pressure die-cast aluminum cylinder is available 2 finishes, ball burnished or black E-coat, with slotted mounting flanges for 3.22” to 3.40” on center studs. Kit includes two 7 oz. fluid reservoirs, clamps, brackets, and hoses for direct or remote mounting. The Combination Proportioning Valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning, incorporating a hydraulic brake light switch, adjustable prop valve, and Y-junction block, and finished in black E-coat for durability and a performance look. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with pre-installed plated steel tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation. Simply connect the fluid lines, bleed the system, and you're finished.

Wilwood's Tandem Master Cylinders represent the latest in refinements in brake pressure actuation and fluid control, and the durable nylon reservoirs are designed so that the top is level when mounted at the 15° angle typical of GM power brake applications. The high-pressure die-cast aluminum cylinder is available 2 finishes, ball burnished or black E-coat, with slotted mounting flanges for 3.22” to 3.40” on center studs. The Combination Proportioning Valve substantially simplifies wiring and brake proportioning incorporating a hydraulic brake light switch, adjustable prop valve, and Y-junction block, and finished in black E-coat for durability and a performance look. Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with pre-installed plated steel tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation. Rear brake circuit reservoir, closest to the booster, holds nearly 5 oz, while front brake reservoir holds 8 oz. both made of black plastic with black screw caps.

Wilwood finally has an elegant answer to the question, “Where do I mount my Combination Proportioning Valve?” with their new Mounting Bracket Kit. Specifically designed to work in conjunction with Wilwood Compact and Remote Tandem Master Cylinders, in manual or boosted system applications. Kit includes: Stainless steel fluid tubes are precision bent with preinstalled stainless tube nuts for a simple bolt-on installation between the Combination Proportioning Valve and the Wilwood Tandem Master Cylinder. Stainless steel button head fasteners thread into the black e-coated L/H bracket for a simple installation and years of durable, rust-free performance. This complete Mounting Bracket Kit includes all the mounting hardware.
