Wilwood Racing has engineered an innovative new Lug-Drive dynamic-mount rotor system specifically for race cars using Wide 5 and 5x5 hubs. The new floating rotor Lug-Drive system simplifies assembly with a single snap ring in place of rotor bolts and safety wire. The floating rotor eliminates heat distortion from thermal expansion for a more predictable pedal feel and extended pad and rotor life.

Drag and road race cars have used the Wilwood Lug-Drive system successfully for years, and the Wide 5 version was extensively tested in asphalt Late Model racing for over a year. The lighter, simpler attachment system allows rotors to stay flatter and run truer, ensuring optimal pedal feel even at extreme temperatures. Lug-Drive Spec37 rotors are available in 11.75” x 0.81” 40 symmetrical straight vanes, or 11.75” x 1.25” 48 directional curved vanes. Lug-Drive adapters and snap ring kits are available for Starlite 55 and Starlite 55-XD Wide 5 hubs and a version for 5x5 racing hubs. All mounting hardware is available separately.
