Wilwood has introduced the first series of rear disc brake conversion kits using their new Combination Parking Brake Caliper. The calipers use hydraulic pressure for stopping and an internal mechanical lock for the parking brake.

Wilwood Disc Brakes has recently introduced a new D154 rear parking brake kit that features the latest in disc brake technology. The D154 Pro Series rear disc conversion kit with integral parking brake provides high-tech styling for the street and track. Experience big brake stopping power from 12.19” diameter rotors and two-piston floating mount calipers for ultimate control with big wheel and tire packages. Application specific engineered kits feature bolt-on installation and full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output.

Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac muscle car enthusiasts can now install matched four wheel discs, with integral internal parking brakes, on any 1964-71 model 10 bolt 8.2” ring gear rears using the factory press fit bearing axles. These fully bolt-on conversion kits feature DynaPro LP or Dynalite forged billet aluminum 4 piston calipers, and a choice of 11.00” or 12.19” rotors based on the wheel sizes being used. Wilwood has announced five new brake kit configurations for the popular 2.50" offset Big Ford, New Style / Torino bearing 9” rear axles. These new kits combine Wilwood's proven hydraulic disc brake conversions with an electric motor-driven parking brake caliper.

Wilwood now has six-lug, truck-grade, rear brake conversions for 1963-87 Chevy C10 and GMC C15 pickups and related SUVs. Designed to complement existing six-lug front brake kits, the DynaPro rear kit features 11.00” diameter rotors, while the Dynalite kit features 12.19” rotors, both with internal drum parking brakes.
