By popular demand, Wilwood has applied an upgrade to many of its Street Performance and Show Car brake kits by adding a black E-coat corrosion finish to its GT slotted rotors. This process provides a full electro-coat coverage inside and out to inhibit oxidization and to improve aesthetic appeal.

The E-coat finish will be removed from the rotor faces quickly during the initial ‘bedding’ process, leaving the rest of the rotor protected, including the mount tabs. Brake kits which include rotor part numbers ending with -GTB will now include the E-coat finish, which is applied at our Camarillo, CA, facility.
