Wilwood’s new floor mount pedal assembly has a brake / clutch / throttle triple pedal design. There are three individual fabricated steel pedals with non-slip pedal pads to control brake, clutch and throttle. Pedal assembly part number 340-12410 is for rear engine cars and does not include a throttle bell crank and linkage. This unit features an aluminum frame with strong lightweight fabricated steel pedal arms. The frame and the pedal arms have a black e-coat finish for protection and an attractive appearance. Also included with the pedal assembly are mounting studs, clevises, and balance bar assembly that is designed to provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias. The balance bar can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustments. The pedal assembly provides a 5.25 to 1 nominal ratio.

Tru-Bar pedals utilize a fixed trunnion bearing in the pedal arm, with spherical rod-end bearing pushrod attachments. The new Tru-Bar pedals utilize the same chassis and master cylinder mounting as all Wilwood balance bar style pedals. Wilwood’s Tru-Bar balance bar system is now available in a Forward Swing mount pedal with a 6.25:1 ratio. Tru-Bar pedals utilize a fixed trunnion bearing in the pedal arm, with spherical rod-end bearing pushrod attachments. They provide ultimate precision, control, and adjustment of the brake bias on race prepped vehicles. The new Tru-Bar pedals utilize the same chassis and master cylinder mounting as all Wilwood balance bar style pedals. A stronger and larger diameter 7/16-20 bar provides quicker adjustment and features a shouldered 3/8” diameter end to attach the standard remote adjuster cable to deliver professional, championship caliber performance. Wilwood’s Tru-Bar balance bar utilizes a fixed trunnion bearing in the pedal arm with spherical rod ends at the pushrod connections. It provides the ultimate in precision bias adjustment, control, and fine tuning on race prepped vehicles equipped with twin brake Master cylinder systems and proportionately sized calipers.

Swing Mount Brake Pedal Description

This swinging mount pedal assembly mounts two single outlet brake master cylinders in a forward position outside the firewall. It features a lightweight aluminum frame, with a high strength reinforced I-Beam style forged 10:1 ratio pedal arm. The non-skid waffled pedal pad can be laterally adjusted for driver preference or clearance as necessary. The balance bar incorporates a positive detent stop every full turn to maintain adjustment position and driver awareness. A pin and clevis pushrod attachment system provides highest possible degree of misalignment angle for bind free operation through the entire range of travel. The balance bar can be locked in place with the included jam nut, or used with an optional remote cable for quick on-track adjustments. This pedal accepts any Wilwood vertical mount flange single outlet master cylinders that are ordered separately by style and bore size.
